Art direction of the identity and website for a NZ on Screen funded history of New Zealand popular music. The look and feel are based on the concept of a 'digital fanzine' with flat colours, no 3D buttons or other generic web design elements. Xeroxed music fanzines on cheap coloured paper and the predominance of a DIY ethos in NZ music were the core inspirations. The hand drawn logo and icons are constructed from 'unfinished' stencil-like lines to denote that the site is an ongoing historical project.
